OUR APPROACH
LEADS works at the grassroots level to create sustainable change for Jharkhand’s tribal girls.
We are constantly working in unison with parents, teachers, communities, and the government to meet the varied needs of our children and act as a safety net to bring about systemic change.
We identify children from the lowest strata and the most vulnerable communities of Bihar and Jharkhand who are in dire need of a safe environment and reliable infrastructure to gain access to quality education.
We establish partnerships with state governments and communities who are sincerely committed to their children's education and future and will contribute their sustained support towards the projects.
Each child is given access to early learning, multi-lingual education opportunities and skills development that come from strong education systems and innovative solutions.
LEADS’ education programs focus on –
We are constantly working in unison with parents, teachers, communities, and the government to meet the varied needs of our children and act as a safety net to bring about systemic change.
LEADS emphasises hands-on, practical learning, helping students apply knowledge to real-world situations and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
We integrate sports into education and promote physical fitness, teamwork, discipline, and leadership skills among students.
LEADS provides vocational training, equipping students with practical skills for future employment, and empowering them to pursue sustainable livelihoods.
Right to Health and Well-being: Building a Healthy Future
Our health and nutrition programs focus on prevention and response, aiming to reduce malnutrition and ensure the overall well-being of our beneficiaries
LEADS does this by providing the following:-
We provide nutritional support, including lentil soup, and are working on introducing mid-day meals for the girls to ensure they receive adequate nutrition.
We regularly organise medical camps for the girls, offering services such as eye check-ups, to ensure their health needs are met with proper care.
The challenge we face is enormous, but it can be overcome within our lifetimes.
It requires all of us to unite and take action to create a lasting solution.
Yes, I want to help!
